Monterufoli Horse

Monterufoli is a breed of horse smaller than a normal horse and lives a long time. The head is rather long in contrast to the neck, which is comparatively short and muscular. The mane is very thick, the back broad and solid, the tail is low and the legs are strong and muscular.

The hooves are compact and durable. Overall it looks harmonious. Monterufolino infoOnce tamed and docile it has versatile features that make it particularly suitable for riding with very young children.

In the past the Monterufoli pony was widely used when moving between Grosseto and Pisa Asthe as it was strong and durable and so suited to inaccessible locations.
